1. Data we collect

Through the intake form, client portal, admin systems, and contact form, Direct Vision Studios collects: your name, email address, phone number, business name, company details, project requirements, messages you send us, and project-related files you upload.

Through the payment gate, our payment processor (Stripe) collects payment-method details. Card numbers are processed by Stripe and are never stored on our servers — we retain only a token reference and the last four digits for identification.

We automatically collect basic technical data: pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from IP address, for security and analytics.

2. How we use it

We use your information to: respond to inquiries, prepare quotes and scopes of work, deliver contracted services, operate the client and admin portals, process payments for invoices and hosting renewals, provide support, and improve our services.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers required to operate the business (hosting, payment processing, email delivery), each bound to use it only for that purpose.

3. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in to the client portal and to remember your preferences. We may use basic analytics cookies to understand how the site is used.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the client portal sign-in requires essential cookies to function.

4. Data retention and security

Project records, intake submissions, and messages are retained for as long as needed to provide services and meet legal obligations. Payment-method tokens are retained while your account is active and removed on request, subject to financial record-keeping requirements.

We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted connections, access controls, and row-level database security so clients can only see their own data. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for the portal.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and as required by applicable law.

Deleting portal data does not delete financial records we are legally required to keep, nor does it affect the enforceability of signed client agreements.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business grows. The version posted here at the time of your engagement applies to that engagement. Material changes will be noted with a revised "last updated" date.
